How Does the Electrophoretic Process Work?
Background - Alphaclad is deposited electrophoretically, forming a layer which conforms closely to the contours of the work piece. The product’s significant covering power, high adhesion qualities and proven performance mean that thinner deposits can be used to achieve the effect of alternate coatings and thicker finishes.
Proven Performance
Electrophoretic coating is quicker and simpler than many traditional coating processes. Below is a description of the five required stages:
- Pre-treatment
- Electrophoretic coating
- Post-rinses
- Curing
- The finished product
